Case Study -  Banco Credicoop

Today, with 244 branches all over the country, Credicoop is the first private bank with 100% Argentine capital and the most important co-operative Bank in Latin America.

Challenges

Credicoop Bank was looking for a complete banking solution that would allow for the configuration of different products or packages of customizable products for business as well as personal banking. The application had to inter-operate in a high-volume transaction scheme with a core banking system based on cobol/CICS technologies on OS/390 servers.

Solution

A fully configurable banking solution was created, based on a Cubika J2EE Application Framework. The development of the application was carried out with a multi-layered architecture of aggregation, which allows for high modularity in the implementation of transactions. At the same time, an integration layer was implemented based on JCA standards for interaction with the core system transactions in CICS transaction modality as well as through the emulation of TERM 3270.
